Terms & Conditions of Sales

Article 1 - Duration of stay

The client, signatory of this contract concluded for a fixed period, may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

Article 2 - Reservation formalities

The reservation is considered firm only upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total reservation amount. The deposit can be paid by check or postal order, bank transfer, or online payment from our website www.closerie-des-sacres.com. Payment of the deposit confirms your full agreement with these general terms and conditions of sale.

For reservations made online, you will receive an email confirming receipt of payment with details of your stay, which will be considered a contract. If the reservation is made by phone or email, confirmation of receipt of the deposit will be sent to you by email or text message.

Article 3 - Right of withdrawal

A reservation made online, by telephone, and/or by mail is a distance purchase. This is a contract concluded remotely within the meaning of the definition given by the Consumer Code.Please note that the right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the provision of accommodation services.

Article 4 - Cancellation of stay by the customer

Any changes to your reservation are only possible with the agreement of "la Closerie des Sacres" and may result in additional fees. We inform you that in the event of cancellation of the reservation before the start of your stay, cancellation fees will be applied under the following conditions:

- if the cancellation occurs more than 4 weeks before the arrival date, cancellation free of charge.

- if the cancellation occurs less than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the 50% deposit remains with the Closerie des Sacres.

- in case of no-show on the day of arrival, the entire stay will be charged.

In the event of a shortened stay, full payment for the reserved service is due, regardless of the reason.

Article 5 - Cancellation of stay by the owner

If the owner is forced to cancel the guest's stay for reasons beyond their control, they must inform the guest as quickly as possible and find an alternative solution identical to the service booked. If this does not suit the guest, they will be reimbursed immediately.

Article 6 - Arrival time

The guest must arrive on the day of the reservation between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. After 7 p.m., the owner reserves the right to be absent, so it is imperative to notify the owner in case of delay. If the guest does not arrive before 8 p.m. on the day of arrival, this contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of the room.

Article 7 - Departure time

The room must be vacated by 11 a.m. at the latest. After this time, you may be charged for an additional night.

Article 8 - Payment of the balance of the accommodation

Payment of the balance of your stay will be made on the day of your departure, as well as any additional services to this contract and tourist tax.

Article 9 - Change of room

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer to a room of the same or higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

Article 10 - Pets

Pets are not allowed at La Closerie des Sacres, regardless of their size or behavior. If the guest fails to comply with this clause, the guesthouse owner's refusal to accept the pet and its owner cannot be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the owner's initiative. In the event of the guest's departure, no refund will be considered.

Article 11 - Capacity

All reservations are made for a specific number of people. If the number of occupants exceeds the number of people on the day of arrival, the owner may refuse the additional guests. This refusal cannot under any circumstances be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the owner's initiative, so if more people than those refused leave, no refund will be considered.

Article 12 - Art of living and use of premises

To ensure the tranquility of the premises and the comfort of guests, respect for a certain "art de vivre" is required of all. Smoking is prohibited inside the house; an outdoor area is provided for this purpose. The client agrees to respect the etiquette instructions that will be provided to them and these general terms and conditions of sale.

The guest agrees to return the room in perfect condition and free of damage at the end of the stay, to systematically report and assume financial responsibility for any damage for which he or she is responsible. Repair costs will be settled according to a separate invoice and based on the costs incurred.

The kitchen at La Closerie des Sacres is available to guests, who are responsible for returning it in the same condition as when they found it. If multiple guests wish to use the kitchen at the same time, good manners apply. If the kitchen is used by a group of at least five people, a flat rate of €40 will be charged for the entire group per meal eaten on-site.

Children must always be accompanied by an adult in the house, yard and garden.

Article 13 - Modification of the conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale are deemed to have been acquired upon payment of the deposit.

Article 14 - Data Protection Act

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data. La Closerie des Sacres undertakes not to share the information you provide with other companies or organizations.
